We have a new ball game in our stock market! Have you noticed how the market has changed? We have a completely different share market now and therefore I have found that some of the usual methods are not as good any more. The market is very volatile, up one day, down the next. Swing trading seems to stop us out very quickly and as soon as we are out, the market moves up, leaving us behind. You see, even in a bear market, there are still stocks that are going up. Learn the skill to find them. Besides that, if you have trading skills, you will be able to trade "short" by using CFD. My preferred CFD borkers are IG Markets and First Prudential Markets. I use them both, because the seem to complement each other nicely. For further information, do not hesitate to email me on ejk@tradingaustralianshares.com I have found that at this stage, day trading and very short term trading gets the best profits. I try to find some stocks that are trending up early in the day, then enter a cfd trade and as soon as they spike, I get out with a small profit. I am not waiting until the price drops to my trailing stop loss. However, should my stop loss get hit, I am out, protecting my capital. Yes, I find that many times the price may rise after I get out, however I made my profit and can do that a few times every day. How do I find relevant stocks? I look at news, trading volume (mainly dollar value) and early trends. It takes some work, but is well worth the effort. At this stage, I do not use my long term method, except for stocks which are in a good uptrend. However, by popular demand, as from Monday, 11 Feb, I will be putting my CFD day trades on a table again. Link to the table Comments are most welcome
